Capital one to refund consumers who had credit protection

I recently received notification of a class action lawsuit about the same thing with HSBC cards. I think the refund amount was between $15 and $40 dollars depending on the terms of your account. It was for cards earlier than 2010 though. Glad to see the new bureau getting something done. I wasn't always as educated about finance products and services as I am after being a forum member for a while.

I got the same card...referencing an old C/O'd Orchard account. I don't remember if I even paid for the credit protection to be honest...
