Not yet snagged by CFPB?
What they are doing is "legal" per se, kind of the payday lenders of the credit card business. Being that its part of Sherman LLC aka LVNV I'm pretty sure they don't give a "hoot" (sub whatever word you feel fits) about complaints as long as they are rolling in the money.
I'm sure the CFPB has its share of complaints on ALL of Sherman LLC's companies.
Being that there exists an element of consumer confusion, I'm surprised Credit One hasn't been hit with a 'Cease and Desist' yet regarding logo similarity.

As much as I dislike Credit one they did have the logo first in 2006, then Cap One copied it in 2008.

Great find! Interest article - I still hate their "business model"
They're usurious scums no doubt, yet I can't help but think they wouldn't be in business if people weren't so desperate for credit they'd pay all their outrageous fees just to get a useless toy limit card that may not even have a grace period. Especially so when you have the OpenSky secured card that only has a $35 AF and doesn't even do a credit check.
