The response to the data breach, save the token credit lock feature, has been worse than the actual breach. The trustedid app is one of the most bland and underrepresented compilations of a so called credit report, that I've ever seen.
Ultimately, everyone's social was already floating around out there. But, Equifax has just conveniently connected the dots for any tom dick and harry to have the keys to the kingdom.
This is usually queue for when a company gets sold off to someone else that will run it into the ground better. But, clearly the big wills at Equifax had enough political capital to skate on some obviously fraudulent goings on. Good grief... corruption at its finest.
