Re: New Credit Score Website

I just checked out this site and it looks like it is up and running now.  However, I am still "thinking" about that one time set up charge.

Re: New Credit Score Website

Most of us are 'Thinking' about that steep set up charge. Maybe more people will be able to afford since it's tax season...(fingers crossed)Smiley Wink

Re: New Credit Score Website

I think the one-time setup is a bit steep and then on top of that the monthly fee.  I'll wait and see if they become a little more reasonable in the future before I sign up.  I want to make less debt, not more.  I think they are building in a considerable profit margin mainly because there is no other site that provides this depth of information.  There will be in the future though; it's just they got there first; as a matter of fact, I'll bet someone else is probably working on building something similar.  It just takes good ole competition to bring prices in-line.

Re: New Credit Score Website

Their hard cost is $6 for each FICO report so that is $18 for all three. If you sign up for the monthly, then they are making $6.95 GROSS profit on you per month. Then they are paying CC discount fees, rent, payroll, equipment, server and hosting fees. Not a big profit unless they get a bunch of customers. Most of the world is falling for the FAKO nonsense and will think this expensive.

I think this explains why they want the setup fee.

Re: New Credit Score Website

I'm interested to know if anyone has signed up yet...I think its well worth the money if it does what it says it does. My question is this....when it pulls your report, is it all 3 reports??

Re: New Credit Score Website

I seriously don't see what the problem is with the price and why I keep hearing the, "I'm trying to get out of debt" banter. This sounds like it is going to be a great product and it offers what no other Fico supplier does. They have a right to ask what they want and it seems reasonable to me when there are probably millions of us paying a lot more for a lot less. This service offers an 'Analyzer', 'Tracker' and a customized 'Planner'. If I'm not mistaken...nothing like this exist. They are pioneering this product so they should ask for top dollar. I certainly would. My DH is a Programmer for a hedge fund company and let me tell you...when you are dealing with complex numbers and calculations, it takes great skill which comes at a price. The team developing the 'mycreditplan' website are nothing short of a geniuses IMO and I'm positive their rates aren't cheap.

I see the value in this service. If someone doesn't, then they shouldn't and probably won't get it. We all have a choice...Smiley Happy

Re: New Credit Score Website

whodatnation2...yes, they give you all 3 Fico scores. That's why it's a big deal.

Re: New Credit Score Website

So if I get the plan with one pull a month, they will pull all 3 reports and I get all 3 scores?? Also, do they track and analyze each individual pull??

Re: New Credit Score Website

whodatnation2...I am in no way the expert but from my own understanding, you will get your report and all three FICO scores each month with the monthly plan. Because it says:

Includes: All 3 FICO Credit Scores, Score Tracker,Score Analyzer and Score Planner. If they're not going to give that to you fresh every month...there would be no reason to pay the monthly costs.

As far as if they track, analyze and plan each pull...I would just say...if they don't, that would not make sense. So, I'm going to say yes. If it turns out they don't...that would be sorta dumb IMO, LOL!Smiley Happy
