Just be careful it's a good move for you. Hidden in the fine print is the change in statement credit rewards. Currently, 3333 pts will get you a $50 credit(net is about 7.5%). Now, each point is only worth .01, so the net goes down to 3.3%. A few times I have done even better with gift cards when I know I need something somewhere, but since I tend to take the statement credit, I refused the "upgrade."
