No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
A number of articles have shown up about a fresh credit card. Also the T-Life app shows the proposed design with Capital One as issuer. Sounds exactly the way the two would work in my opinion.

I have no idea what you mean by this.

I mean that I am not surprised that T-Mobile and Capital One would be able to make an agreement. The two companies seam compatible. Just like Verizon partnering with Synchrony as both are rather sleezy or AT&T partnering with Citi as both are mediocre.
Interesting comments!
Remember the day back to 1990 when I had an AT & T Visa with a $28,000 credit line. Thinking it was issued by Citi? Nice looking card ... for some reason I did not use it a lot?

So T-Mobile and Capital One partnering because they are both under-rated and relatively solid? 🤔
I'm surprised that they didn't do this before they decided to not allow credit cards for the autopay discount. Must not have been able to get a good agreement until now.
Thank you for the update and news link. I use T-Mobile, so depending on what benefits are offered, I may apply next year. I suspect it will be underwhelming, though. We'll see.
Looking forward to seeing it once it rolls out. I may have to get one as well if it's perks save me more than or equal to the 5% cash back I currently get on mobile phone and data bills. 😉

It that something you were denied? Because for at least the last 6 years I have been getting the autopay discount from Tmo and I use my Amex Gold to pay
for it.

They stopped allowing credit cards for the autopay discount a couple years ago. Some have reported keeping it for whatever reason but most lost it.

(yes, they messed up Apple Pay lol)
