Crazy! I live in an area where Chemical Bank (mentioned in the article) had a strong presence. The local branches JUST completed changing their signage over to TCF and handing out TCF debit cards to all of their customers roughly a couple of months ago. Looks like they are about to have to just turn around and switch these directly over to Huntington. It would have been a pain-in-the-butt time to be banking with Chemical.
