Wait a minute?  The average person doesn't have 15 credit cards?  

But seriously, the data does make sense to me.  Most people just have a handful of prime cards and maybe a few store accounts that they opened for financing something here or there.  The average credit card debt is an interesting stat, I would have thought it would be higher.  Student loans and mortgage averages seem about right.

It's interesting that those that don't have debt, or good mix of credit are hurt by the design on the system.
