Wimbledon, one of the most recognizable brands in international sports, has struck a multi-year sponsorship agreement with American Express Co. The US-based company will become the new payments partner of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), which hosts the annual Wimbledon Championships in southwest London, starting in 2019, the AELTC said in an emailed statement.
