I have one 30-day late ding on my report from Wells Fargo in December 2020..
Questions are: How long until it doesn't matter about that ding anymore?
What is easy way to get them to remove it? I tried emailing but I am not sure if they even read the email because I didn't get a response back either way...
Any feedback is appreciated

loses most of its sting in 2 years (assuming it's the only negative on your report), will be gone in 7 years.
You need to write goodwill letters and send them out to any Wells Fargo address you think will read them. Read up on "goodwill" or "goodwill letters" or "goodwill saturation" on here.
"Hey,
I made an oopsie.
I'm sorry.
My Oopsie was caused by X, Y, Z.
Since the oopsie, I've been really good and I'm happy to be your customer.
I'm asking to please remove the late payment as a gesture of goodwill."
But, like, actually written like an adult. But that's the jist.
3/6, 5/12, 14/24
Yeah, it's the only baddie on my report.
I will write a letter since email seem not to work. Thank you for suggestion. I actually have a copy of the goodwill letter I wrote to them in an email.. ( they never responded whether they received it or not.... I don't know if I had the correct email address) I can just print that and mail to them.
