This would be my guess. Cap One purchased from HSBC, held for 2 years. Announced sale to Citi in Jan 2013.Cap One Sells Best Buy Portfolio

Good points. Yes, my AoOA remains unchanged, thanks to the Citi account. AAoA only took a very small hit, since I have 20 other account on my report. So it dropped from like 5.6 years to 5.4 years, not enough to affect the FICO scoring.
