Adding AU to AMEX

Anyone know if AMEX is allowing AU to be added? I'd like to add my sister to my two AMEX accounts which were both opened in 1978. Provided, of course, it doesn't result in my history getting revised.

Thanks

You shouldn't have a problem at all.  Go for it while you can before FICO 08, as AMEX does not do joint accounts.

Never came back, huh? Did it vanish from just EX, or from all of them?

Re: Adding AU to AMEX

Well, that's even stranger. Because even if FICO 08 were on schedule, only EX should have stopped reporting them, and the other two not until January at the earliest, correct?

Could AmEx have decided on its own to stop reporting AU's?

DH's Discover doesn't post again until the 18th, so I'll have to wait until then to see if I've gone poof.

Does she use that card at all?  I know AUs have different account numbers... hoping it's just a case of inactivity.  Ok I'm dreaming.....  Smiley Sad

OK, I have got to stop thinking this and posting this! a day without coffee is a day without brain cells. Smiley Tongue

With FICO08 (if ever it happens), FICO will stop counting AU cards in a score, but this doesn't mean that the CRA's will stop reporting them. We will know if and when FICO08 kicks in by a change in our scores, not necessarily on our reports. I guess the FICO score reports will show the different credit history length on mine...
