Alerting Services Are not Accurate--stop complaining!

Look--We have established that Alerts don't work--Scorewatch doesn't work, TRuecredit Alerts don't work--all of it is very inaccurate. They don't pull scores everyday which they should, and they get delayed if you pull your own report. In every experience I have had with every credit monitoring service, one thing remains the same: INCONSISTENCY. Do not rely on alerts to let you know when your credit changes. If you want to see what changes to your report on a daily basis, use TRUECREDIT and click "UPDATE REPORT" every single day.

My advice--FORGET ABOUT ALERTS.

A.) Use this site to chat with others and learn about credit. Also, use it to pay for your real fico scores and explainations.

B.) Use Truecredit and click "UPDATE REPORT" EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I am sorry--I do not want to insult anyone's intelligence or be a know-it-all, I just want to let you know what I have learned. I have been using these services for nearly a year now and I know what works and what doesn't. I used to complain about scorewatch, but then I realized it wasn't the only one--ALL of them don't work right.

I agree.....but i do have a ?........Can it hurt you (not your score) to pull your reports everyday? I heard that it can cause a "split file" which could be bad news!!! Is this true?
