Amex travel 2x mrps

I did some research but couldn't find out for sure.
If I used mrp's through Amex travel would they be 2x? 60,000=120000..
Or is this simply when using the card not the mrps through Amex travel?

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking here but I'll take a swag.

If you use\spend Membership Rewards (MR) points to book travel via the portal, you will not earn any points.

If you purchase, with real money, travel through the portal using your Gold card, you will earn 2 MR points per dollar spent.
