Any recourse on Payments after statutes run out.

I paid off 3 delinquent cc accounts last week after the statutes ran out and
found out about it today after reviewing my fico reports a bit closer.
I have 2 accounts that I just paid that show last payments received in early 2001
on my TU report with an account closed in oct of 2001 but they show as last payment in 2004 on EQ or EXP reports and closed in oct 2004
I feel like the reports are misreported on the dates as there are 3 years difference between
TU and the others.
If these are misreported and I paid them do I have any legal recourse against the ca's?

Has there been sufficient time for the CA's to report your payment to the CRA's? I think they only report once a month. If it's been more that that, and your payment history & balance details haven't been updated you can dispute the information as incorrect.
