Updates and data share;

1.Starting scores before spree: Ex 797 TU 781 Eq 781

2.Starting Credit utilisation 14% [because TD biz was reporting with 40% utilization]

3.Citi Costco and BOFA pulled Experian

4.Penfed pulled EQ 

5.NFCU pulled TU twice-I am guessing once for account and once for credit card-hopefully the second card denied was NFCU internally.

6.New CLI -12,800 on 3 cards. New credit-59,000 on 4 cards.

7.Scores after inquiries:Ex 792[-5] TU 777[-4] Eq 770[-11]-Can someone expalin why Eq dropped 11 ??

8.Credit utilisation will drop to 9% this month.

Target is to keep utilisation under 8% for the next few months and April 2017 and hope for :

1.Get NFCU card cli 5000

2.Get NFCU CLOC   5000

3.Penfed  card cli      5000

4.Penfed PLOC         5000

And in september 2017

1.amex cli card 1  4000

2.amex  cli card 2  4000

Is this conservative or aggressive?

Should i apply for any new cards at all if i can get the Ex TU Eq scores back close to 795.in september?

Update;

NFCU rep called to set up parts of account.During the course of conversation, I asked about the denied Platinum card.

The CSR said

1.There was no HP for that card

2.Once you have a couple of months of history with us ,call us and you will probably get the card.

3.Later, I also received a letter for denial stating:Your credit card account is too new 

So there.

Citi sent Targeted mailer for Citi simplicity.

As i logged into my nfcu account today, the first screen was to apply for Checking line of Credit.

It was tempting, but i took a deep breath and passed on it.

Update:

 As my utilization dropped below 9% from 14%, my Experian/Fico score has gone up today  by 15 to 807.

In 2 days TU and EQ will also update, i am crossing my fingers if they will also go up simlarly.

Update:

well, the scores did not pan out the way i hoped.

EX back down by 9 to 798.

TU down by 8 to 769.[still shows old utilization of 12%]

EQ steady at 770.[showns new utilization below 9%]

Still not sure when to apply for NFCU cloc ?? or navcheck?

Right away ,after 1 statement or after 3 statements?

Decided to go apply for NFCU CLOC with "apply Right Away " option.

Instantly approved for 15K.

Exactly One Month later.

Scores now are EX 798 TU 763 EQ 763

6% utilisation.

1. Applied last week for PLOC over the phone.CSR asked for POI. Sent it in .

    25 K approved.

2. Opening Chase and Local credit union business accounts in the next few days.

    Will apply for Ink cash . Chase pre-quals for saphire offers popping in my chase account.So tempting.

3. Target of 275K  credit by sept looking good.

6% utilisation.

1. Went ro chase branch-opened business account.[$200 bonus]

  Rep said you are approved for business credit card.

  Asked her to apply for Ink visa[80,000 bonus points]-approved instantly in branch for SL $20K.

2. Opened a business account in Local credit union.No rush to apply for business credit card yet.

Is it time to garden?

Taking a breather.

Now waiting for NFCU and penfed CLIs in 3 months -That should take me beyond my target when i started.
