Apple Card Not Reporting....still!

My Apple Card has not updated since April 30th. It reported to EQ and TU but still not Experian. And here we are almost in July. It's causing issues! I've filed a dispute with EX and on Apple Card's side. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sporadic reporting is the name of their game, unfortunately. Filing a dispute with the CRAs is not the way to go, as the issue is stemming from Goldman's side, not the bureaus.

But doesn't the dispute force Goldman Sachs to update?

No. Creditors are not required to report anything to the bureaus. What they are required to do is ensure the information they report is accurate should they chose to report it. Disputes are for inaccurate information, not the lack thereof. I understand where you're coming from, and disputing it didn't do any harm I'm sure, but it's not going to fix the issue.

Apple Card reporting

I'm wondering if I should be concerned that my Apple Card reports to the CRA's by different names: (EX) Apple Card/GS Bank USA, (TU) GS Bank USA, (EQ) Apple Card - GS Bank. Three completely different names. Is it a big deal? Does it matter? My CapOne and NFCU CC's report by the same exact names on my CR's across-the-board.

No.

Re: Apple Card reporting

No, the name of the reporting company does not matter. As long as it's GS/Apple Something.

As far as the Apple Card, just double-check to make sure your balance, payment history, and credit limit are all that is supposed to be. They report very unreliably... I had to wait two months for my Experian report to update.

Re: Apple Card Weird Reporting

I'm in the same boat. Just checked my EX report and see that GS has not reported since May 31. Today is July 9. Clearly they've skipped a month. They did, however, manage to report to TU and EQ in June. Not cool!

Re: Apple Card Weird Reporting

They have not reported on any of my reports since I received it (6/25), made sure I paid the balance in full too! Now it says no payment due until Aug 31. I'm like OK sounds good to me 2 months of interest free spending!

Re: Apple Card Weird Reporting

Of all accounts, this is certainly an account to be PIF every month, given the inconsistencies, you never know if they will report each month.  So if you carry a balance one month, you may be carrying it for consecutive months.....

This. I just received the Apple Card at the end of July, with the intention of paying it off monthly anyway. What I hadn't realized until reading this statement, is that if a balance is randomly or inconsistently reported, it could be there indefinitely until GS updates. That's kinda nuts, but causes me to be even more vigilant with that card.
