Can someone copy/paste the content of that article? It says it is for premium members only and that I need to pay $49/year to see it.

Re: Asset Acceptance falling off the deep end....

I have a  goodwill letter all typed up and ready to mail to Asset right now.  I am scared to send it to them now, because even though the debt is paid and the balance shows $0 on the credit reports, I don't want them to throw something back on my report that's paid and I don't have proof of it because it was from 2004.

Should I  or shouldn't I?

Yeah, I can't read the article either...These people seriously called me at 7:30 in the morning, and told me she is sending it over to the legal department...isn't that not allowed, calling so early?

Re: Asset Acceptance falling off the deep end....

I disputed somethings with Asset about some dates on a paid collection from 2004 and it came back with a 120+ day late for jan 2008. WTF?

Re: Asset Acceptance falling off the deep end....

The link was directly to the article when I posted it; however, all that is needed is to search "Asset Acceptance" in the space where it reads "Search insidearm.com.
You will then be able to pull up mutiple articles on these monsters.
