Auto financing errors on credit report

I am in the process of cleaning up my credit prior to buying a new car.  Unfortunately my last auto loan and the one I co-signed with my ex were not paid off very well.  I just paid off the late fees that were assessed on my loan so that I could get the title a few weeks ago.  The loan itself was paid off but because of the unpaid late fees they have it classified as charged off.   They haven't updated that account with to show it was paid off yet.  The loan for my exhub's car shows as paid off but the status shows 90-120 days late.   I just examined the monthly details of the loan payments and it shows 30 days as the latest it was paid.    My question is this, should I dispute these two things on my reports prior to applying for a car loan  (I believe the item in question doesn't show up on the report while it is in dispute???)  even though it may then show me as not having any auto financing history as pitiful as it is or would that hurt me if the results don't come back before I need to apply for the loan?

The TL will still be there even if you dispute. Smiley Happy

Will having the disputes hurt me if they aren't resolved before I apply for my loan?
