I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I hope no one was hurt.
Paying off installment loans doesn't affect your score as much as reducing revolving credit but on the bright side you will have less overall debt and that is always a good thing. 
You say your revolving credit balance is $1,512. Do you know what your available credit limits are? I ask because revolving credit utilization (total balances divided by total available credit limits) is 30% of your total score so getting it low and keeping it low is the fastest way to help your score. Do you know what your utilization is right now?
