I just received an email from them stating I could monitor my account via said online access. Well first of all I don’t have a belk account. I called synchrony by belk via googling their CS number.
They couldn’t verify my info cause I wouldn’t give them my SS#. But at the end I did provide the last 4 of my SS#. And they replied that it’s not my account and not my address I only gave her my city only.
They also replied that it maybe a person with my same name is all. Question to her was how did they get this email address in the first place? It was an email address I only used to open my Forex and robinhood accounts only.
No alerts from any of the credit monitoring I use. Am I safe and should I worry?
