It's irrelevant now, but if anyone wants to explain anything about it--what it was, did, rewarded, was/wasn't good, etc.--I'd like to hear it!
Here's a thread from 2017 that provides some highlights on the first post:

Basically, this particular [FOTM] Visa card debuted in early 2016 and was a fairly innovative 2% cashback product. The card offered special 6-month financing on transactions >$199 (one could have multiple running promotions). It was issued by First Electronic Bank and only reported to Experian. Accounts were frozen in 2018 (during the week of Thanksgiving). Crickets since then until now.
I got my closure email today as well. I removed the card from my portfolio in 2019 as I knew I was not a Comenity Bank type of customer.
Ding-dong, the Blis is dead. Time to update my signature...finally.
I got a letter in the mail yesterday about the closure, but no email. 🤷 I'll go and update my siggy, I suppose. I was so hoping Comenity was going to do something with all the accounts. Boo. 👎

I forgot all about Blispay!
I wonder if they realize they forgot to shut the phone line down and unplug the computers?
I thinkit's probably this exactly lol. They didn't want to just come out and say, "It's over, people."
It's Over for Blispay, now how it going to report to Experian. When you now call Blispay phone number it tells to call another phone number who is a debt colector who is servicing the remaining accounts who have not been paid off. Good by Blispay.

I'm sure it's likely to report as Closed by Credit Grantor, if anything -- except for those folks who closed the account on their own terms.
I wish I never got involved with this one. Only put one charge on this account. I think only time this may be problem on experian report if credit decision goes to manual review.

Why would you feel there would be a problem under manual review? I think that's overthinking things.
If the account was in good standing (regarless if you used it once or several times), the closure will reflect that. Closed by Credit Grantor is not a negative notation, especially on one account (its connotation is more psychological than anything), it simply means the lender closed it. So, if it was in good standing (even during its 'zombie' period of 2+ years), there really isn't much to worry about.
And my Blispay account dropped off EX last month. Anyone else lose their history also?
