CCs Listing Your Phone Number On Credit Report

Hello, when exactly is your phone number reported to the credit bureaus?  Only when you complete an initial app? CLI via hard pull?  CLI via soft pull?  Periodically during routine soft pulls?

Do banks report your phone number anywhere if you dont have a line of credit with them?  Like just for a checking account?

I've got a series of Google Voice numbers and I'm trying to "quarantine" certain ones for spam and public reporting/listing.

I have never seen a personal telephone number listed on a credit report.  The only telephone numbers listed on the reports are those of the lender reporting the information.

I've had several phone numbers on my reports, as have my husband and my mom. I just request the old onesite to be removed so that the only one listed is my current one. As to when they get reported I have no idea.

The Personal Info section of your report is pretty easy to clean up and get reading however you like.  You need one current, complete and correct street address (along with city, state zip).  And I have always allowed one accurate "previous address" as well.  But all the extra addresses, the phone numbers, the employer fields.... I just request those to be deleted.  The CRAs don't have much choice except to comply, since their required fields are accurate.
