Hello everyone:
I'll get right to the point; I've managed to bring up my credit from 512 to 600 but I am still in the hole and obviously my credit is still horrible.
I managed to raise enough money for a down payment on a 1 bedroom apartment goign for 80k (more or less), whether it's foreclosure or not. My plan is to do whatever it takes to own a home very soon, but of course my credit is horrible. i am American but my mother is Italian and she does not have a social security or credit history in the US. Is it possible to co-sign with her if she has a good enough income and proof of it.
Basically what would it take to co-sign with her, or is it even possible??
Unfortunately, if your mother has no social security number or credit history in the US, she will not be able to co-sign for you.
The creditors would want to pull her credit report.
Interesting. Let me check into it.
LOL, alright then.
Thank you though.
I made a mistake; she actually does have a credit history and credit cards from bank of america for example and other companies.
