Cap1 reporting closed account - No FICO change

Between yesterday and today, all 3B are reporting my oldest tradeline, a Cap1 account closed. I am happy to report that my FICO score didn't budge either up or down. I have enough of a cushion in my CL that my UTIL is not affected by the closure.

All of your accounts are less than two years old? I want to close my cap one but it is my oldest by a decade over my recent increase of cards. I won't miss the utilization, just don't want to drop the average age in case they take it off. Sucker has an annual fee.

Closed positive tradelines will stay on your report until they age off after (generally) 10 years.

This is what I am counting on. In seven to ten years, my plan is to have my credit file thick enough that when the Cap1 tradeline drops off it will be but a burp on my FICO credit scores.
