Child Support reporting 120 day late on all bureaus

For 2 years I have had the State of Texas report my child support 120 day delinquent even though I was paying every month. I have tried to dispute this with the credit bureaus with no success.

i have called them repertoire beg them to remove the inaccurate reporting with no avail. It turns out after my hundredth call to the child support office that they state of New Mexico where the original case was from, was not reporting pay history to Texas.

to clarify , I liv in Texas but used to live in New Mexico and moved to Texas after my divorce. So Texas was the 'enforcing agency'   And New Mexico was the collecting agency and the two never communicated which means I was being punished for no reason.

My score right now is 549. It's artificially low and probably suppressed because of the 120 day late, it will be interesting to see how it will climb after they remove this erroneously reported account.

Once you have disputed under the FCRA and you receive a dispute decision that verifies the accuracy as currentl y reported, you have two general options under the FCRA.

First, you can file a complaint with the CFPB and obtain admin review, or second, you can file a civil action for review of the reasonableness of their investigation of the dispute.

A question--were you ever late/behind and then caught up? If yes, this may be the cause for it to be reporting late.
