So a few months back I closed my Credit One card (for obvious reasons) after it hit 12 months before the next AF hit. They did so with no problems and within a week it showed as a closed account on my CRs with 12 months of history. Well its been a few months now and yet it still reports every month as a paid account. For instance I now have 15 months of history (green squares) when it should have stopped at the 12 when I closed it. The date of last reported is August 1st even though it should have stopped reporting months ago and it's still linked on my CK account and updates monthly where as my closed Walmart account (when I upgraded to Discover) shows just as a closed account. It seems to be a good thing because not only does it show closed but it also keeps getting more history added to it monthly, as if it's still open. I hope I explained this well because it is hard to do so. Anyone else ever experience this and can this be a bad thing?
Just let it go, not hurting a thing.
Some CC issuers reports 6mnths to 1 year after close date. Thats a good thing for postive tradeline from what i read here. It fall off after 10 year since the last reported date.

Cool thanks for the info. I figured it was okay and even possibly a good thing, but just wanted to make sure.
I'm with Shogun on this one!
