Closed accounts still on my report -- years later ??

I closed numerous credit accounts about three years ago.  I have zero balances on the cards I kept.  However, the closed accounts still remain and are showing most recent update as Jan 2007??  How or when will these go away??

Positive closed tradelines stay on the report for at least 10 years after being closed. Adverse information may be as long as 7 years.
