Credit Check Total 50% for 5 years

Wanted to do a little update thanks to this forum.

I am currently enrolled in MyFico and CCT

I just went through the automated system to close the CCT and was offered the 50% discount for 12 months, however, after I accepted the offer it told me I was going to receive the 50% rate for the next 5 years.

Just figured you guys may want to know about it.

Thanks. They have been known to give that offer to some. They gave it to me, but only for a year and said call back before the year was up.

Re: Credit Check Total 50% for 5 years

This has been talked about many times here, but I guess the amount that people visit this site varies greatly. When calling CCT to cancel, the automated line always gives you a discount for 5 years while talking to a live rep only gets you a year. Dont know why, but thats just how it works.

Re: Credit Check Total 50% for 5 years

Yeah, every few weeks when I do another $1 trial and cancel it I get the $15/mo for 5 years automated message.

No thanks.  CCT can get $60-$120 from me for the next 5 years not $900.

Re: Credit Check Total 50% for 5 years

Sorry to bring back an old thread but this seems to be the most recent I could find on the topic. How are people still getting 50% for 5 years? I tried the number listed on their page (1-866-506-7894) and an 877 number I found in the mass CCT thread but neither allow me to cancel via the automated line. Every time I call, I just get sent to a person immediately. Am I missing something or did they kill the automated process?

It's gone. Even if you call after hours, you will just get a message stating they are closed and to call during normal business hours.
