Re: Credit One bank not reporting payments

Lol. I am a patience person I just didn't know. If i have to wait another week for the info to update its no big deal i just didnt know if it was normal for this to happen. My state employees credit union credit card reports sooner so when I didn't see a change after a week I got concerned. Once again it's no big deal now that I know what's going on. I am trying to figure out how to add my cards and other info now.

Nevermind. I thought you were supposed to put a picture of your card on the site and I was trying to figure out how to do it but I guess I can just type what kind of cards I have and their balance and limits.

Re: Credit One bank not reporting payments

Your state employee CU reports sooner because it has a different statement date, every CC has their own statement date unless you changed them to synchronize with each other. If you look at "last reported" date for the state employee CU account it will likely show a different date than Credit One's date, same delays in reporting will also apply to that CC account from the "last reported" date.

I would look into getting a secured card or 2, preferably ones that are known to graduate with a set time frame, like the Discover secured. The secured route is a much better option than getting ripped off by predatory lenders that charges fees, offers no rewards or the prospect of future growth, predatory cards should be the absolute last resort.

3 cards are really all you need to rehabilitate your profile, if you're able to get 2 secured cards it would be a good time to close Credit One, then sit on the 3 cards (managed properly, no lates) in the garden while working on getting your negative items removed from your reports. Good luck.
