DOFD Question

What is acutally considered the first delinquincy? For instance, an old Cap1 says '180 Days late as of June 2002'. Now that to me would mean that the first delinquency was 150 days prior to that in Jan 2002 when it was 30 days late.

I actually dispute even that date, and have a DV out but want to make sure if they come back with a suit (e.g. saying that this debt has been posted for 6 years, is out of the 30 day 'timely', and has been 'verified' twice), but want to make sure I have some juice behind me.

Re: DOFD Question

'180 Days late as of June 2002' is the status date - this is when the Staus last changed- Not the DOLA or DOFD.

In the payment history- is it marked 30, 60 ,90, 120 days late in 2002?
You don't DV a OC-
Find the DOFD from EX or TU

Re: DOFD Question

Yes, I 'OC'd them. In my old Experian report, the one from TrueCredit, it does show the delinquincy history (30/60/90).
