Debt Validation - Recieved info not complete

I have two collections accounts that I know are not correct.  One is an old employer that a new HR manager sent 2 years after I left the company for a bill of $32,000 for moving expenses.  But I never moved and only recieved $8,000.  I sent a reqest for validation and they sent me a copy of my offer letter that states I am entitled to an ESTIMATED $32,000 - which I signed.  I use to have a letter of seperation, but its 5 years later and no longer have that showed that I recieved $8000 and was not responsible for repaying.  On this debt, I cannot see how this is validation of debt when its just a pre-employment offer letter I signed for estimated moving costs, and it does state that if I leave the job, I am required to payback minus each month I work 1/12 of the balance.  Technically if I own this debt, I worked 2 months and would owe around $6000.  So my question is what do I do next?  They think this is a valid debt because its what they recieved from the company's new HR manager.

Second debt is a medical bill from 3 years ago and the only debt validation they sent me was an itemized bill that shows no insurance payments.  I have ordered my EOB from the insurance agency, but again, I know I cannot owe for the entire surgery when I had great insurance - but yet they claim I owe entire amount?

Thanks

Re: Debt Validation - Recieved info not complete

Medical debt is very different from other. Because you had ins. at the time you need to get all info. from the ins.company first. You might find that the hospital never filed a claim.

To clear medical debt from your CR you use the HIPAA process. Paid medical collectiond must be deleted.
