do any one know how to get inquiries deleted or if any one ever had any luck with that ??
It is nearly impossible for a CRA to evaluate whether a credit pull was legitimate on their own.
The normal authorization for a credit pull is FCRA 604(a)(3)(F), which authorizes a permissible pull to a person who "has a legitimate business need for the information in connection with a business transaction that is initiated by the consumer." This portion of the statute does not even mention the extension of credit.
If the transaction is a "credit transaction" involving the extension of credit, then FCRA 604(a)(3) authorizes a permissible pull.
These typically involve matters not in your CR at the time of the credit pull, of which the CRA cannot pass judgment. Thus, section 604(f) requires the person making the inquiry to self-certify the legitimate reason for the inquiry at the time it is made.
Sure, you can dispute under FCRA 611(a), at which point all the CRA can do is to ask the reporting party to verify that there previous reason was legit.
Very little chance that the requestor will say, no their pior certification was improper. A CRA has no effective reason then grant a dispute.

Everytime I apply for something with TransUnion my inquiries get deleted on their own within a month later. EVEN if I got what I was applying for. I had 9 inquiries over two years then out of the blue they were gone, and are still just "deleting" theirselves everytime i apply. I wish the other two would catch on and do the same as well. Anyone know why this might be happening?
Do you pull your own TU report quite often?
