Disputing two charges question...

So to make long story short , I wanna fix my credit score again , went from having a 540 and bump it up to a 640 about 7 years ago thanks to this forum, and now I’m back even lower sitting at 520 score not making smart choices. So I have two debt charges right now , can I dispute them if I still owe on them? How do I go about disputing them? Thanks in advance

Starting Score: 614
Current Score: 614
Goal Score: 640

Re: Disputing two charges question...

Disputes are for inaccurately reported information.  It sounds to me like the 2 negatives are legit, so it isn't advised that you'd dispute them.

Are you asking about disputing the validity of charges that are made on the account, or the accuracy of reporting made to a CRA?

What do you want to dispute? By your own words they sound like completely legit debts...you cannot dispute legit items. Can you be more specific about this if we're off base?

You can dispute legit items, it just doesn't make much sense doing so and it's not the right thing to do.  All you accomplish is the lender verifying the validity of the reported information and if anything just make it harder on yourself to obtain a future GW adjustment due to wrongly wasting their time with a frivilous dispute.
