At least if one calls for reconsideration, they might mention it and one could point out it was on by mistake and that was why they no longer see it.

 

The issue is when you're blacklisted for something else and not knowing how long. The good news is chase does recon. So if there's an error you can call in and they'll pull a new report. At the cost of another HP or 2.


My understanding was that if it was from an unpaid debt, there was no easy way to find out what the issue was and to correct it, unlike AmEx’s Apollo and Optima programs. From your time there, did you know of a program where one could determine how much was owed and pay it off?
