Hello, I was Approved for a NFCU cashRewards card but the inquiry showed up twice on my TransUnion report. Same date and company. Who do I need to talk to about that, TransUnion or NFCU?
You need to talk to NCFU and possibly get a letter from NCFD to sent in TU.
Ty for the Info. I know people say don't dispute from one that approves you so I wasn't sure how to attack that one.

Well you shouldn't dispute legitimate inquiries at all, whether approved or denied. In this case, though, it seems like an error.
I recently had this happen with TransUnion too. I wonder if it is a glitch with the bureau. I will give it just a little while to correct itself before I act, but I do plan to act.
I think it may be a glitch with TU. I saw two HP's for the GM card, two days later I show one was removed.
@CCrew Same here. I just checked and the duplicate inquiry is gone.
Were these duplicates showing up on your reports pulled directly from Transunion or were you seeing them when looking at the Transunion data via 3rd party apps like Credit Karma or Wallethub? We occasionally do see a comment on the siteabout duplicate TU inquiries being reported by a 3rd party app 1 day that are gone the next.

I saw the INQ on a TU pull from AnnualCreditReport, then saw an update on Credit Sesame 2 days later that said that a GS\GM Card inquiry had been removed. I had written it off as a double pull because I went through an inquisition from them because the app tripped a fraud flag and figured they probably HP'ed during that process. Crazy situation that one was. (apped using the address of a second home we own since we're selling the one we've lived in for 23 years and moving to the 2nd)
My inquires would sometimes be the same company, but two slightly different names, then one would just fall off.
