Hello everyone! I'm having issues with EIDT, and I'm hoping someone in here can help. My issue is a little different than the issues you are having. I signed up for EIDT today because it sounded like a great deal for monitoring. Unfortunately, after they charged my card they did not ask for any information (SSN, DOB, etc) that would allow them to access my reports, and they had no way for me to create login information. They just showed an order number with my name and address.

Is this common for them to not give you login information or ask for any information to make sure they're pulling the correct report? How do I go about using the service now that I've paid but have no login?

Thank you for any help you can give! I've been reading these forums for a while, and everyone here is so helpful. :-)

Its normal, they sent  me the following email when I paid.

Thank you for your business and for signing up with EliminateIDTheft. You've taken a very important step in protecting yourself from identity theft.   Your EliminateIDTheft protection starts today.
In addition to our restoration and coverage reimbursement service, you will also receive additional credit benefits such as daily credit bureau pulls (every 24 hours), credit monitoring, credit scores from all three major bureaus, and more (see below). This credit detection service is provided by MyPrivacyMatters ("MPM"). Because MPM provides the credit function of the service, it takes a few additional days for MPM to process the account.
MPM may take two to three business days after which time you will receive an e-mail with your login credentials to access these benefits.

Thank you for the info. I haven't received anything from them yet. Hopefully soon! :-)

Hey @Mitch953, no worries. EIDT is super slow. It took them 8 days for them to give me my user name and login information to setup the process. I even called them and they said it would take only a few days. The service is useful, but it is cheap for a reason Smiley Happy

I'm still getting absolutely no data from EQ. it's now been nearly a month. Has it reappeared for anyone else?

Mine re-appeared finally after a month of being gone. It *may* have been due to not tracking closely enough how I refreshed. I suspect I refreshed it a few minutes early a few of the days, which seemed to make things turn blank. I may be completely wrong, but it's my only guess.

Mine did not work for a really long time and I only checked once every 3-4 days. So it wasn't anything you did. All EIDT's fault Smiley Wink

HAHA! Thanks. I was trying to take responsibility for anything I possibly could have done to cause it, but you're very likely right. Problem is not the end user this time. ;-)
