What's the  deal with experian and removong old baddies  .I have a couple baddies due to drop this month and experian stil hasn't remove them

TU and EQ tend to remove items at the begining of the month  what's with EX  I wonder if i dispute things at the beginning of the month,will they

remove them sooner

NOOOOOOO! Don't dispute. That might actually result in the derog being reported longer, while they investigate, or (heaven forbid) if they come up with a later DoFD from the original creditor or something. Just wait for it to fall off. Exp is a pain that way, but just wait for it to fall off.

Experian should be treated like a scab. Let it dry up completely and fall off by itself.

I always have to call EX to get anything deleted thats past the expiration date.  They say it will fall off on its on, but never does.  I  been calling for two months getting old inquries deleted.  I told the CSR I will be calling back October 9th to have 2 October 8, 2007 inquiries deleted.

Hi, what was told to me from an experian rep that inquires are removed the 1st or 2nd week (can't remember exactly which week) of the following month, they have a system sweep that deletes everyone that is due.  I have had to call experian twice to have inquiries deleted that were only a few days overdue, as I was anxious just to have them removed, and to my luck after speaking with a rep both times the inquiries were removed the very next day I always called the dispute number for experian.
