This is why Equifax early exclusion is not even worth doing. One month is not even worth the hassle. By the time they finally get around to it, it’s really only 3 weeks.
TU 6 months and EX 3 months are worth it.
My understanding is that the front line reps don’t have access to the correct screens to do an early exclusion. Most likely the rep realized after you got off the phone and it was too late.
EE technique; call, ask to speak to a supervisor. If they ask why say “I would like to request an early exclusion and I know only supervisors are authorized to do this”.
