Exactly 30 days late on car payment - will it be reported

Hey everyone. I have a car payment through Chase that I mistakenly did not pay part of until this morning. The payment was due on the 27th of last month. I made half of the payment a few weeks ago then thought I made the rest of it last week but apparently I didnt and realized it this morning. I just made the rest of the payment about an hour ago. This puts me at exactly 30 days late. Is Chase going to report a late payment and if so is there anything I can do to stop it before the fact or get it removed after the fact. This is very bad timing as we have been pre approved for a mortgage and finally found a property we want to make an offer on. Did I screw myself or is this situation salvageable?

Re: Exactly 30 days late on car payment - will it be reported

Just called chase. The rep told me somehow I'm only 27 days late and I wont be reported 30 days late if my payment processes properly. She said something about weekends a d holidays not counting towards the 30 days. I get the feeling this is incorrect info. Thoughts?

My understanding by example is: if day 27 were to fall on a Saturday and the following Monday is a holiday, then Tuesday would be day 27 not day 30. Friday would be day 30.
