Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

Let me clarify how I see these index score groups using high school kids as examples. Those in the resilient range of 1-44 are the athletes, cheerleaders, and class office holders. They are very popular, and everyone wants to be them, except maybe the bottom group represented by the 60-99 scores. This is the counter culture bunch that is still fairly cool. They seem to exist to break all of society rules, they might get in fights, smoke something, but even the popular kids are not likely to want to challenge them, as they might just be a bit crazy. The popular kids do not want to be them, and they don't want to be the popular kids either. That brings up the third group, it consists of the nerds, and victims of being picked on by the other 2 groups. They would love to be in either of the other groups, and they have few friends, because being seen with them might cause the first group to lose popularity points. Likewise the bottom group might lose some street credibility if seen with them. Some interaction might be required by the other 2 groups to bully them into doing their homework. If so they will make certain other members in their groups know why they are talking to them. I am very close to being in that counter-culture crowd with just 1 more point. I can look at my 59, and know there is little hope of being in the popular crowd. I just hope and pray that I can get into the bottom group before someone locks me in a locker or puts me in a trash can. I am sick of doing their homework as well. Nobody wants to be in this middle group, not even those that are in the middle group. Unlike the other 2 groups, they don't even want to be seen talking to others in their own group, for fear that it will prevent them from ever becoming a member of either of the other groups.

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

Wells Fargo reported my Fico 9 score this morning and I was pleasantly surprised on the 54 point increase. This puts me within striking distance of my 1st 800 score. I can't wait until this weekend for my monthly report.

Resilience Score dropped to 62 from 65. I was expecting more. I paid off roughly $10K in principal for my car loan, but Wells Fargo hasn't reported yet. Frustrating. Oh well, hopefully the 3B report in October is lower.

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

My own update for September: I lowered aggregate % and total a little (-1% to 4%, -$125 to $1,111).

Same 55 and 2 red flags as last month.

EQ FICO Resilience Index

Leaderboard as of September 13, 2020

Breaking News

K-in-Boston STILL holds The Golden Chalice! even though Kenro also has a 72. Because 3 FLAGS beats a question mark!

Dogbert is still KEEPER of The Golden Sword! for having the lowest/highest/worst/best score ever!

The Realm of Resilience has been ROCKED!

Lulah arrives with a score of 37 and is now

sole possessor of the Gold Key

FICO issued a press release about this score and it triggered a flurry of articles in the mainstream press. The Washington Post published an article about this 'new score'. Plenty more articles on Google here. Lots of article authors are wondering if/when consumers will be able to obtain their score. lol The first score was submitted to this thread on March 29, 2020.

This Resilience Index score is included with a myFICO subscription. It will be shown on the dashboard.

And as always - lower rating (higher number) doesn't mean that person has a bad credit profile in any way. This score is really sensitive to balance amounts and it doesn't matter if you have a 600 or 850.
