Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

This guy told me he created the Resilience Index. He was riding around on his scooter while eating Twinkies outside Equifax headquarters. Makes sense.

EQ FICO Resilience Index

Leaderboard as of November 4, 2020

Breaking News

tacpoly still has The Bat award for scoring a 39 with an EQ 8 850!

That's the best overall rating we've seen to date!

@juggernaut9 & Lulah have a Gold Key with a score of 37 !

Dmessina666 still holds The Golden Chalice and The Golden Sword !!!

General Information about this score

  • FICO issued a press release about this score and it triggered a flurry of articles in the press.
  • The Washington Post published an article about this 'new score'.
  • Plenty more articles on Google here.
  • Many article authors are wondering if/when consumers will be able to obtain their score. (lol)
  • The first score was submitted to this thread on March 29, 2020.
  • New Podcast Interview: A VP of Scores at FICO talks about the new FICO Resilience Index.

This Resilience Index score is included with a myFICO subscription. It will be shown on the dashboard.

And as always - lower rating (higher number) doesn't mean that person has a bad credit profile in any way.

This score is really sensitive to balance amounts and it doesn't matter if you have a 600 or 850.

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

Hey everyone. I think I missed something here. I get that that the lower the score for this, the better. I have Family FICO and I have 57 with 2 red flags. But lucky butt DH has 32 with no flags but has low scores. Again, did I miss something based on the current leaderboard?

@mrsgrits: No, you didn't miss anything. Lower is always 'better', but there's also quite a lot of people that didn't score so well that have really great credit profiles. Those are the ones in the 'Sensitive' and 'Very Sensitive' groups.

A person who reached the maximum on all 28 FICO scores recently lost 9 points (meaning the number went up) on this score by just letting some much higher balances than usual report this month for a utilization test.

32 is the best score we've seen so far! Can you post a snapshot of it? It's not necessary - I'm still going to update that board based on what you posted - but that should be recorded for posterity! haha

Wait a minute...you're taking their word for it, but I had to post a screenshot to take the throne? 🧐

Btw, I dropped to 72 after a new collection and higher utilization reported.
