Actual change this month (2021-05-06)!

From 52 to 50... same 2 red flags as previous months.

Two months ago was EQFRI 52, EQ8Auto 888, for a Stress Adjustment of -55, with an effective EQ8Auto of 833.

Last month was EQFRI 52, EQ8Auto 885, for a Stress Adjustment of -55, with an effective EQ8Auto of 830.

This month is EQFRI 50, EQ8Auto 887, for a Stress Adjustment of -52, with an effective EQ8Auto of 835.

Which means... absolutely nothing!

But I would be interested in comparing the Stress Adjustment factors and effective EQ8Auto of anyone else who is playing with these numbers.

Just use:

=(-1.728*EQFRI)+(-0.11*EQ8Auto)+132.329

for the Stress Adjustment factor

and

=(-1.728*EQFRI)+(-0.11*EQ8Auto)+132.329+EQ8Auto

for the effective score

I'm mostly interested to see how many people (if any) are in practice actually seeing an effective increase to EQ8Auto scores - it requires a fairly "good" FRI, and a mid-to-low EQ8Auto. Since the "best" reported FRI so far here is 32, and the breakpoint for 32 being a positive is under 700 EQ8Auto.... Not sure if that combo is actually happening in practice.

Technical details about the FRI from FICO dated December 2020. iv posted an excellent table that shows how regular FICO scores can be adjusted up/down by this score. I posted a chart of that table data. The Washington Post published an article about this 'new score'. Plenty more articles on Google here. Many article authors are wondering if/when consumers will be able to obtain their score. (lol) The first score was submitted to this thread on March 29, 2020. Podcast Interview: A VP of Scores at FICO talks about the new FICO Resilience Index. My highlights from the interview above. This Resilience Index score is included with a myFICO subscription. It will be shown on the dashboard. And as always - lower rating (higher number) doesn't mean that person has a bad credit profile in any way. This score is really sensitive to balance amounts and it doesn't matter if you have a 600 or 850.

Hello Cassie,

My score jumped to 64 from 60:-( Due to in large to an increase of of my credit utilization, which still is below 10%. 

Amex Plat $228 to $1582

CSP $0 to $1451

Citi Premier $99 to $330

Next report should show lower balances. Just made a bunch of payments today. 

I also just opened up an Amex Business Cash credit card, so I'm going to start metriculating more transactions to that card from my personal credit/charge cards. Hopefully this helps my scores because it doesn't report on my peronal scores.

Also Cassie, I only show 1 flag now instead of 2. WooHoo! Looks like the Credit Mix flag dropped which is weird because my auto loan was PIF a couple of months ago and my scores took a hit because of it. I still have my MTG loan, however the principal is still on the high side because I haven't paid enough of it since the loan is only 2 years old.

• EQ 8 761 on a CLEAN file with 4 open bankcards (MC/VISA/AMEX/DISCOVER, no retail) and 1 closed SSL (Shared Secure Loan)
• EQFRI Adjusted EQ AUTO 8 Score: 703 (-43pts from 746)
• 5% to 4% aggregate
• -$428 aggregate balance
• 4-of-4 accounts with balances to 3-of-4

But 24 FICO scores are up anywhere from +2 to +20 and I gained +7 on my middle mortgage score (now 748).

And I got a Ruby

(1yr 3mo since any inquiry) for the first time in my 3yr5mo total credit file history. (2yr5mo with credit cards.)
