Just trying to pass on helpful information, not claiming to be an expert. Sorry if I offended you, as it seems..
No worries. Information is constantly being recycled on MyFICO.
If you are looking for answers to specific questions a search may lead you to older posts that have what you need.
Well it seems with the scores that you have, that may be a good idea. I would be on cloud 9 with those scores. I am just happy to be in the 800's coming from bankruptcy in 1994 with a score of 530. You must have worked extremely hard over the years to be maxed out at the top of the scale. Those scores are simply unheard of!
I finally made the 800 club in all 3 bureaus when a 10-year-old tax lien fell off TU. I decided when I reached it that I wasn't going to sweat score drops unless they went below 775. I watched my scores religiously for a few years now and it's a lot of work. haha! I have developed good financial habits through these forums and they're going to stick with me now forever. Common sense is really all that's needed.
It's really good to see all of these struggles as we Americans are trying to keep ahead of the financial system's monster. It's really good to see that we can all come together to help and advise each other in an effort to "stick it to the man.." LOL!
Fantastic job, keep up the good work.
I will continue to strive for at least 825. That has been my goal for over 2 years. I never thought that I would ever acheive anywhere near 800. I was thinking it was all good when I was at 677! I love seeing these posts of folks improving their scores. This credit score thing has almost become an obsession for me. I would rather have this habit than some others..
