Just a follow-up to this thread. My wife and I agreed that is best to have one of us with no lates on our credit report, so she had me removed from the card. It has hit all 3 bureaus but now since I paid off our son's car (USAA closed the account), my score has dropped some more. No positive actions came from the 30-day late being removed. Maybe it will jump up a little within the next few days. We'll see.
