Follow Up to Judgment Question

I spoke with the courthouse where an action against me was filed but paid before the court date. The person there verified it was dismissed, but it is still showing up in the bureaus as a judgment against me that was paid.

She said that I can go in and pick up documentation from them that the lawsuit was dismissed. Will this work to dispute with the credit bureaus if I mail it myself, or should I try to hunt down the collection agency that filed the suit?

Thanks!

Re: Follow Up to Judgment Question

If the court has the documents stating dismissed...I would just dispute with the CRA's(againif you have already) they will verifiy and remove. But get the copies so you can send back up info to the CRA's. I would do the dispute in writing.
