For those who want unlimited credit pulls for only $9.95

Hey everyone, since TC only offers 1 pull each month, I figured the next best thing would be creditchecktotal.com. The product is offered by experian, provides once a day credit pulls from each CRA, and the best of all is the price. It is advertised on their website for $19.95 after the 7 day free trial, but all you would need to do is call the cancellation department and tell them that the product is too expensive. Then, the retention rep. will offer you $10 off for the next 6 months. Then at the 6 months mark, repeat step 1 and they will renew your membership for the same price. So really, $9.95 is a very good steal for unlimited pulls and barely any junk advertisements on the page compared to TC. Hope that helps and happy holidays!

Do you make the call BEFORE or AFTER the 7 day trial expires?

not bad i guess.  i don't like having to call people all the time to get lower prices, etc. though.

Re: For those who want unlimited credit pulls for only $9.95

At this point, what other choice do you have? The whole point of calling them is to cancel your service and re-enroll as a paying member in the same call. That way you can get daily pulls, while you are at it they will give you the $9.95 price.

On a side note,

I called to cancel another service today and the CSR's rebuttal was "You need to be careful, because other companies could cause hard inquiries as opposed to pulling your reports with us always resulting in soft inquiries." ROFL!

Re: For those who want unlimited credit pulls for only $9.95

I just signed up for Credit Check Total yesterday, but am unsure where to go to update my report. After I log in and click Order New Report it says I need to pay $39.95 to get update my 3 reports with FAKO scores. Am I missing something? Aren't I supposed to be able to update daily for $9.95/m?

You can call them and tell them you want to cancel the membership, and then re-enroll as a paying member. You will have instant access to your reports after that. They will most likely offer you the discounted price of $9.95

On these credit reports, does it show account numbers, addresses, etc...all of the information we need to ensure no errors on reports. Thanks

I just wanted to remind those of you who are AAA Auto Club members that Experian Credit Check Select is free with your AAA membership.  You only get one free credit report pull, but you do get Alerts/Monitoring of important changes such as inquiries, new accounts, etc.  The main purpose of it is to alert you of any possible identity theft ASAP.
