Fraudulent Wells Fargo credit card

I'm struggling with getting fraudulent credit card account removed  ! I provided all documentation and law enforcement report.

Send a copy of police report to each bureau, along with letter stating you dispute under Section 605b of FCRA. This section covers improper reporting of identity theft. They must be blocked , making sure consumer isn't further harmed.

Send letters certified. You want to make sure you have receipt.

If CRA deny your request, they must supply reasoning.

It doesn't usually go further than CFPB. If CFPB can't resolve, you have a case to file a civil suit. Your consumer statement to agencies satisfies what is required.
