Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

Wow that's Awesome!! I would like to begin to say I am not a bit jealoous but in fact would like to congratulate you on your achievement! This is actualy my first time on this forum and reading your post gives me hope that I too can improve my fico score.  I am on here looking for a solution, so here is what Im dealing with.  Two years ago I had 5 accounts in collections with 3 of those, fraudulant accounts and (2) that were mine which were charged off with a remaining balance of ($150).  I called all three Bureaus and Equifax, was willing to help.  I spoke with their representative and explained to them I was a victim of Identity theft and she was sympathetic to my story and removed the items from my report.  However, three months later the deleted items appeared on my report again.  My question is what can I do to have these removed once more and what steps did you take to remove all files from your report in two months period.

Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

I went from 618 to 654 on EQ in one WEEK!  WOOHOO!  Those silly old Student Loans from 2001 fell off!  Otherwise, that's up from 490 EQ since September 05.

Slow and steady wins the race, right?

(PS -- the SLs haven't fallen off TU and EX yet...  waiting..  waiting... waiting...)

Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

Nice movement Peas. I wish that I knew what my scores were when I started repairing last May/June. I knew the scores were horrible and didn't know that I could get all three of my real FICOs w/o applying for a mortgage. Wish I knew about this site then. Anyway. In June, all three of my CRs looked the same. I venture to say that I was in the low 500s at best on all three. EQ has taken off big time. Waiting on the others to catch up.

Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

Thanks!

Do you think there's a way we could bribe these people?

It's odd, last I was just asking questions (in the installment, mtg, auto section) about when they should fall off and POOF today, EQ says they're gone!  All 13 of them!  (I'm still in shock.)

Okay I dug up a bit more history (all FICOS):
6/17/05:  EQ440 TU476 EX495
1/15/08:  EQ654 TU654 EX653

Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

Peas, I would settle for TU actually doing their job and do a real investigation. If they did that, they would realize that they are reporting in error.
