@Anonymous wrote:How long did it take to go from the 5 to the 6 range? My history is longest card 5 years and about 3 cards are more than 2-3 years another 2 cards are over 1 year and 2 are under a year with one being only two months old. I know I have to many but at this point I am not closing anything in case I whammy myself However, I push the disputes to see if I can get house ready in 3 months. It is a little stressful since I have that time crunch. So that is why I am wondering how long thus far has it taken you to go from bad to good?

Were you low or high 5's? Regardless it is still a big boost whether you started high or low 5's. I'm still trying to see if I will be close to my goal in the next 30-45 days. I believe the six month is key. I reviewed somewhere that said my hx was 17 years which I assume will be helping my fico to grow as far as hx goes. I went up since feb 56 on tu and 66 on EX EQ kind of funny down 25 and then up 23 in same time frame with similar changes. With a couple of diff tu has updated 2 accounts EX updated 1 and EQ none of the 10 pay downs. I'm sure I am still looking at another 30-45 days before they all are updated with all three bureau. I'm uncertain why EQ is the slowest are they the biggest in your opinion? It was mid to low 5s but the biggest jump came since end of January til now and that was pure utilization factor and not having really small balances on a number of cards. The small balances on cards is hard for me because most of my cards have some benefit depending on where and how they are used. Even Target gives money back to my son's school so I gues sthat hit wil keep on hitting me. I never have more than about 30.00 on my Target cards on any particular statement and have acouple of higher interest cards that I use just to keep them active. So 10 bucks here, 20 there. It only hurts when its all in the same month.
